Our Birmingham clinic provides private general dermatology care for a wide range of skin conditions, with experienced dermatologists assessing, diagnosing and treating both common and more complex skin concerns. Our dermatology team provides care for conditions including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema and other skin disorders, as well as minor surgical procedures such as cyst removal, mole removal and lipoma removal.
Our dermatologists take a personalised approach to each consultation, beginning with a detailed assessment of your symptoms, medical history and skin concerns. Where appropriate, examination and diagnostic techniques such as dermoscopy can be used to support assessment. Your dermatologist will explain the findings and discuss suitable treatment options based on your individual needs.
Our dermatologists also perform a range of minor skin surgery procedures in Birmingham, including cyst removal, mole removal and lipoma removal. Where a procedure is appropriate, your dermatologist will explain the recommended technique and what to expect before treatment. Suitable procedures are generally performed under local anaesthetic, with aftercare advice provided to support healing.
Minor skin surgery may be recommended following a dermatology assessment where removal is appropriate for clinical or cosmetic reasons. Depending on the lesion and procedure, removed tissue may also be sent for histological examination where clinically indicated.

Following treatment or a minor procedure, you’ll receive appropriate aftercare advice, including guidance on caring for the treated area and what to expect during healing.

If you have concerns following a procedure, you can contact our team for advice. Where clinically appropriate, a follow-up appointment can be arranged with your dermatologist. Depending on the circumstances, your doctor may also be able to provide advice remotely.
Â
Where a procedure involves stitches, histological examination or other follow-up care, your dermatologist will explain what is required and advise you on the next steps. Where tissue has been sent for histology, you’ll be contacted when the results are available, and a GP letter can be provided on request.
